Physician Practice Managers Earn Certification

VOLUSIA & FLAGLER COUNTIES, December 26, 2013 – Nine physician practice managers for Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners have recently earned designation as Certified Medical Office Managers (CMOM) from the Practice Management Institute.

At Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Alicia May and Tabitha McMurtry have received CMOM. At Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast, Pam Hanes, Tammy Jackson, Julie Peck-Adams and Jeff Santos have received CMOM. At Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Barbara Gordon, Donna Irineou and Sabrina Vost have received CMOM.

The CMOM designation ensures these physician practice managers have a comprehensive understanding regarding credentialing and accrediting procedures. It also demonstrates expertise that will help motivate employees and improve the physician practices’ overall financial outlooks.
